Alana De La Garza, a stunning actress who has created a lasting impression on television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. After a brief period, she moved to Texas to pursue her education in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and performed in many acting roles. This included independent local films and international commercials. It was there that she discovered her passion for acting, despite small roles. She moved to New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the daytime soap drama All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she had small appearances on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She was cast in her first big role in 2004's miniscule film The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside some of the top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. In 2006, she played A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the spin-off show that lasted only a few episodes Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring role on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko, the spouse of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is an Italian father as well as a younger brother Cory whom is 10 years younger than her. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano began her career in the age of seven when her childsitter accompanied her to an audition in the acting field. Out of more than 1,000 applicants her name was picked as one of just four. Milano has appeared in ads in both Broadway and on TV as well, such as the American musical version in the form of Jane Eyre.
